miranda,
grew up in a warm and ordinary family, in which making music, self-made fashion and football played a major role.
sports fanatic and from an early age
she participates in various art studios.
raised as an artist and designer at the art academy in arnhem. trained as a visual teacher at the academy in tilburg
works as a graphic designer and art director in various design agencies, before starting their own design studio with her partner and raising 3 children.
with Iranian artist Ferial Kheradpicheh she founded KunstLab 010040, a community art collective.
together they develop socially related art projects, exhibitions and workshops at schools and in neighbourhoods.
with artist Frank Malcorps she is developing a 4-year course for amateur artists at the Center for the Arts in Eindhoven.
she founded AlleeAllee with artist Daniël Lagarde. a platform for artists, designers, farmers and citizens to meet each other through challenging workshops and exhibitions.
is involved and works in the Van Abbemuseum.
initiates and develops social visual projects for the homeless, refugees, in care institutions, in neighborhoods and in schools.
eager and curious, socially engaged, miranda travels as a creative nomad from street to street, from city to city, from country to country. to share stories, connect people. translated and depicted in various expressions. as a graphic and social designer. as an artist. however, her passion for text and image is a common thread through her work.
